Meet the Team – Grace Faubion – WordPress Web Developer, WordCamp Organizer, CodeUp Grad, Dog Lover and Game of Thrones Fanatic.
WebTegrity’s Senior WordPress Developer, Grace Faubion, is an expert in all things WordPress. Upon completion of WebTegrity’s first ever WordPress course, Grace developed a passion for WordPress and continued to cultivate her knowledge in the field. After working on a few independent projects, Grace joined the Webtegrity team, enhancing our projects with her amazing abilities. Get to know a few fun facts from this awesome Game of Thrones fan!
- Are you originally from San Antonio?
No! I’ve lived in San Antonio for just about 5 years and I love it! I grew up mostly in Decatur, Texas but moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area when I was 17. I then followed some family down to San Antonio about five years ago.
- What’s been your favorite project to work on so far with WebTegrity?
Made in the Shade (this includes Made in the Shade Blinds & More, The Made in the Shade Franchise site and each individual Made in the Shade site for all dealers). It was the first major project I did with WebTegrity. I learned a lot from working on that project and am very proud of it!
- Do you have a favorite quote?
“Wherever you go, go with all your heart.” -Confucius
- What’s your favorite happy hour drink?
A Mexican Martini from Chuy’s
- What is your favorite go-to karaoke song?
Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under? – Shania Twain
- What are you currently watching on Netflix?
I just finished watching Ozark, but to be honest it’s all about Game of Thrones right now!
- If you could travel to any place in the world – where would it be?
- What hobbies do you have?
I love to play golf… Even though I’m pretty bad and don’t play as often as I would like!
On every team, there are those who are the anchors… The ones who stay until midnight to help with a project or work on weekends to get it done. That’s Grace. There’s never been a more genuine and caring team member at WebTegrity than her. When she came onto the team we were only hiring subcontractors and the work was never steady. What was steady though was her performance and constant growth as a WordPress developer. So when we transitioned to employees, I was thrilled to have her be a part of our team full-time. She’s great at teaching this stuff too. She’s awesome with a golf club and there’s not a pet or kid that doesn’t love her! One of my favorite things about Grace is her heart to listen to me. Anytime I need to ramble or vent – she’s my sounding board.
Check out the rest of our team.
