Hey, y’all, welcome to another Monday Marketing Minute. I’m Kori Ashton at WebTegrity, and today, I’m gonna help you with another great tip to improve your ranking on Google, Yahoo, Bing, all the search engines for your website.

If you’re not seeing the results you want, it might be another issue, it could be the fact that your website is simply too slow. Did you know that speed is one of the biggest ranking factors for Google, they need your website to be super, super fast, so how do we check that? I’m gonna put the link to this tool in the description box below.

Come over here, use this tool, it is by Google. This is a page speed insight, so you will just come over here, type in your website address, and click analyze. It will process your whole website and it’ll spit out a report. I’m doing WebTegrity’s right now, and I’ve kind of altered it so you can see the results of good and bad. So, mobile is good, it gives you a few options that you can potentially optimize for an even better score, but the desktop is the version that I’m more concerned with, so you come in here and it will start to give you optimization suggestions.

This is super important. These could be things like optimizing your images and it literally opens up and tells you how to fix things.

All right, so a few things you’re gonna need to know are a CDN makes things run a lot more quickly. I’m gonna put a link to that in the description box below as well, what is a CDN? It’ll tell you all about it.

Mainly, it’s your images causing the issue, more than likely, possibly, all the plugins you’re running. We like to see 12 or fewer plugins.

I hope this helps you. If you have questions about anything, comment in the thread below. I’ll see you next Monday, bye, y’all!
