Our WebTegrity team is excited to announce that the San Antonio WordPress Meetup group has been awarded the privilege of hosting San Antonio’s first ever WordCamp!

Why is this a big deal? Simply answered – WordCamps show the heartbeat of WordPress in your local community. WordCamp is a 1 to 2 day community event that allows folks from all over to network, learn, grow in their skills and giveback to WordPress.

No matter if you’re a total beginner just trying to learn or if you’re an advanced coder who has built custom WordPress websites for years – you’ll find something to learn or share at WordCamp San Antonio. On Saturday, January 24, 2015, you’ll be able to attend many different workshops where you’ll hear speakers from all across Texas and the US. You’ll be introduced to local and national resources for WordPress, you’ll get a free lunch and a T-Shirt all for must $20 bucks per person.

The venue is going to be just as amazing too! Tripoint Events Center is perfectly geared to host our event with individual workshop rooms and an auditorium that will comfortably seat our expected 200+ attendees.

The following day will be Contributor Day – Sunday, January 25th! This event does NOT require a ticket, but we do ask that you pre-register so that we can have a headcount. This is as laid back as WordCamp itself, but will be only a few hours held at Cafe Commerce / 1 Million Cups. These few hours are an opportunity for people to come together and learn what it means to giveback to WordPress and the WordPress Community.

If you’re interested in WordPress in any way, take a look at the website for San Antonio WordCamp and purchase your ticket today! Start your year off by networking with some of the best WordPress folks in the industry & by growing your online presence!
