Our Trip to WordCamp US 2017
On November 30, 2017, a handful of our team boarded a plan and flew to Nashville, TN to experience WordCamp US 2017. Our time was full of music, laughter, learning and, of course, WordPress! We joined nearly 2,000 other WordPress nerds to enjoy three days of workshops and networking. We were introduced to new vendors in the industry with great tools and resources for us to use internally and forward-facing for our clients.
We also met some inspiring folks doing amazing things in the WordPress community. If you’ve never attended a WordCamp, you’ve got to make plans to attend one this coming year. They’re in cities all over the world. Click here to find one for you https://central.wordcamp.org/
We were given a glimpse into the future of WordPress. It’s exciting to hear that the CMS is not claiming 29% of the internet, but they’re also positioning themselves with a new “feature” to launch this coming year. “Gutenberg” will be the latest drag-and-drop user interface for the total DIYer to build a dynamic looking WordPress website by themselves with ease. This is exciting to us in so many ways! Learn a little more here directly from Matt.
